Product Review: Studio Gear Primer

img_6519The only primer I have been faithful with is Benefit’s The Porefessional, but I rarely reached for it unless it was a humid hot day and I did not want my foundation from slipping. Now that it’s winter, my foundation works just fine without primer, but I’ve always heard wonderful things about incorporating primer into a makeup routine. img_6521When I first applied Studio Gear Cosmetic’s before foundation, the texture reminded me of how Porefessional feels. It has that non-greasy, chalky (but not drying), slick feel to it. I tried it out for a few days and by the end of the day my makeup didn’t have the greatest difference from when I don’t wear primer. So at least my skin didn’t get any reaction from the product which is always a great thing! I don’t have large pores but at the moment some acne, so I suppose for my skin texture  I don’t see much of a need to smooth out my smaller pores.

Below shows foundation with and without the primer. Left side has primer underneath, right side has only foundation. For ingredients and more information about this primer, click hereimg_6522Just for my wonderful blissful readers, you can get 10% off your purchase!
